AMIA, in partnership with the Alamo Drafthouse and The Film Foundation, offers a three day Projection Workshop training projectionists and staff presenting 35mm film in theaters.

The three-day workshop will offer speakers and hands-on tutorials for projectionists working with 35mm film prints and will focus on film preparation and projection as well as special stipulations for archival projection, coordinating with lending institutions, and paperwork.  The workshop is aimed at those who have some booth experience and are looking to expand their knowledge and skills.

Taught by working professionals, instructors include representatives from Kodak and Boston Light & Sound.  Registration is limited, so we urge you to register early.

Registration is $250 per person for the three day workshop.
